Da Ji was imprisoned by Ji Chang in Zhaoge while she sent Shen Gong Bao to collect Xuan Stones to build the Deer Terrace Pavilion, trying to summon the Devil King to the mortal realm and revitalize the Devil clan.

And Ji Chang was the last piece of Xuan Stone. Ji Chang’s son, Lei Zhen Zi, had been living in a foster home in Zhongnan Mountain. He later received an order from his master to rescue Ji Chang and bring him back to Xi Qi.

Lei Zhen Zi and Ji Chang went through an arduous journey, during which they formed a strong bond of father and son and established the same goal of overthrowing the merciless and cruel King Zhou of the Shang dynasty and Da Ji. Only in this way could they save the people from suffering and bring the world a peaceful life.
